Memory Course Throwdown! How to Choose the Right One

If you have ever thought about improving your memory I'm sure that desire lead you to the internet. And if you have ever done a Google search for a memory course, I am just as sure that you were overwhelmed by the dozens of options you had to choose from. Maybe you just got frustrated and moved on. Well, I want to help you get back on track.

Not all memory courses are not created equal, but what really sets them apart from each other is not what is inside them, but what is inside you! The way you learn and absorb new information is the key factor in determining which memory course is for you.

Let's take a look at the VAK learning style model:

  1. Visual Learners. These are the picture people. These are the readers. If it gets done with the eyes, you are visual.

  2. Auditory Learners. Music and the spoken word. If these two things make you smile, congratulations, you are an auditory learner.

  3. Kinesthetic Learners. Do you have that itch that says, "I just have to do it?" If you like to jump right in, and repeat patterns, you are kinesthetic.

So how do the three styles play into the memory course you should choose? It's all about the delivery of the program. If a program makes you do things like a game, it is perfect for a kinesthetic learner. If it is primarily a book based program, it's for the visuals. Audio program? That one is easy enough.

Take a good look in the mirror and figure out which style of learning best fits you before choosing a memory course. Then, you will be well on your way!
